Once upon a time, the web was a place where you could go and find something new, something interesting, something that you didn’t know about. It was a place where you could share your ideas, your creations, your thoughts with others. It was a place where you could learn new things, explore new ideas, and connect with others.
There are signs that it is happening again. The web is becoming a place again. The barrier to entry that made the web great before is disappearing. The web used to stand out as an inexpensive place to post your ideas available to the world, at the cost of learning a simple markup language. Today, even after decades of complex libraries, frameworks, and design systems have reduced much of it to a giant series of themeforest examples. The opportunity to build something new and unique is reemerging in ways we have yet to comprehend. I believe we are at the cusp of a new golden age of the web. And I can’t wait to see what we build.
There is no path pattern. There is no template. There is just the next thing I want to make.
